Question: I have watched and wondered ever since the Rider Post Office building was built on High Street, why the US Postal Service doesn’t have a street number displayed on the building. I thought there was a local law requiring street numbers to be displayed?
Answer: You answer comes from Susan W. Wright, Customer Relations Coordinator with the U.S. Postal Service on Nandino Blvd.
“Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Street numbers for Post Rider have been ordered. We will correct the situation as soon as possible.”

My mother was a public school librarian. I earned a bachelor’s degree in music and a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Kentucky. The Herald-Leader hired me as a news assistant 25 years ago; soon after, I moved to the news research department, where I’ve been ever since. We used to clip newspapers. Now, almost all of our research is online. We've come a long way.
